Löyly does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with us. There are no analytics and no third-party tracking SDKs. The only network activity in the app is the subscription purchase itself, handled entirely by Apple — everything else works offline.
Your sauna session history — duration, temperature, notes, and streaks — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or to any third party.
If you turn on Health sync in Settings, Löyly writes each sauna session to Apple Health as a workout. This only happens with your explicit permission, granted through Apple's own Health permission prompt, and only writes data — the app does not read anything else from your Health data. You can revoke this permission at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps.
Löyly offers an auto-renewable subscription, processed entirely through Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Payment information is collected and handled by Apple, not by us — we never see or store your payment details.
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. Any sessions already written to Apple Health remain there unless you delete them yourself in the Health app — that data belongs to you, not to us.
